This is a Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course designated, pursuant to Section 61.21 (2)(a), F.S., to provide information to parents as that information relates to court actions between the parents involving custody, care, visitation, and support of a child or children.
Learning Goal:
The participant will acquire distinctions and understanding of the impact choices have upon individuals, families and extended community. And in the recognition of these distinctions, participants who complete this program, and their families, will experience improved outcomes within their family dynamics.
Performance Objectives:
At the completion of course, the participant will be able to:
- Identify the stages of grief and how it relates to divorce/separation.
- Distinguish techniques and ways of being most effective in communicating as a co-parent.
- Identify standard terms used in family law.
- Describe healthy ways co-parents can stay connected with their child.
- Identify mistakes to avoid when communicating with the other parent.
- Identify forms of domestic violence.
- Generate the content of a parenting plan.

It is my life's mission to empower others. What does that mean? Well, it for sure does not mean adding to the gluttony of resignation and hopelessness that's already out there. I believe that life can work and we have the answers within. Now you just need the proper glasses to see them.
My mission is to help you to clearly see the path. And my role is to help you look at yourself as a source for finding the relationship with your child that you want more than anything. I founded this non-profit with the hope of helping individuals in need. Whether you have court requirements to complete a custody matter or you need a course to get your drivers license back, we are here to serve you. We offer live in-person classes and live via webinar in co-parenting, domestic violence, anger management, court ordered parenting, substance abuse and traffic offender courses.
We also offer programs in this online and self-directed format. The goal in creating these courses was to make myself available in the most workable way possible for you to meet your goals while maintaining the integrity of our courses.
